(pix, you should watch Dirty Dancing tonight)

For sure. Now is the time. I have a feeling if it wasn't scheduled to be on TV it soon will be.

RIP Swayze.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

I want an "I Thought You'd Be Bigger" t-shirt.

Same here or pull a Keanu in shooting bullets up in the air because you realize you can't kill him because he's so cool.

OH, does anyone remember Matty's comments in the last Filmspotting about Roadhouse and its similarities to Yojimbo?

I never realized Roadhouse had some elements of Yojimbo

I loved that he mentioned Roadhouse, but there really isn't much similarity.  Yojimbo is all about playing two sides against one another.  In Roadhouse Dalton is most certainly on the "good guys" side.  (Not to hijack the thread)  RIP Swayze.

Oz interest --> Mike Leyland and Ray Barrett

Ray Barrett was one of those generation of Australian actors who went off to the UK in the 1950s to further their opportunities, then came back home to become a fixture on the small and big screens from the 1970s onwards.
Mike Leyland is a childhood legend for any Aussie kid of the 1970s and 1980s.

Henry Gibson

That's very sad, I loved his play about the dollhouse.
