So Jesus and Arrested Development have one more thing in common. The other being that if you got to know them, they were really funny.

Sad news. Very few men can say that they've not only helped create cool gadgets, but create a lifestyle through them.

It should be noted that he has an executive producer credit on Toy Story and has been mentioned under Special Thanks in the credits of every Pixar film since.

"Pixar began in 1979 as the Graphics Group, part of the Computer Division of Lucasfilm before it was acquired by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1986. The Walt Disney Company bought Pixar in 2006 at a valuation of $7.4 billion; the transaction made Jobs the largest shareholder in Disney."

Steve Jobs
Wow, really sad - I only just found out about this, too, and I've been thinking about all the ways that Apple has, literally, changed my life.  If not for the iPod and podcasting, there were be no Filmspotting and no Filmspotting forum; I wouldn't know all of you lovely people and, almost certainly, I wouldn't have experienced all the wonderful films that I have in the last few years.

Crazy how much (and how quickly) this news has taken over the internet. Twitter is on it's knees, it seems.

Very sad indeed, we need more people with the vision of Steve Jobs.
