I've been slowly rewatching The Sopranos and he's just one of the best ever. So sad.

How sad. He got to participate in a golden age of television and play (not even arguably) one of the greatest television characters of all time. Incredible career that I'm sure would've continued to impress and move us. RIP.

I would never have guessed that JG was only 38 when The Sopranos began.  Dead at 51 was quite a surprise to me.  He's always seemed older than his true age.  RIP
