War of the Worlds is not great.  It's got a few good moments but features some of Spielber's worst work as well as Kaminski's worst work.  Bad film.

Well I liked it. It was sufficiently tense.

I loved it. I would get down on one knee with a half priced diamond circonia from Zales and ask it to be my life partner.

Nice.  The sarcasm is a bit heavy, but I like your style.

(please tell me you're being sarcastic)

Would I marry a movie? It remains to be seen until they pass Prop. 10.

I must do all I can to ensure the passage of Prop. 10. That way Back to the Future and I can finally be together forever.

Oh Keith, you so funny.

Anyway. some more films:

Batman Begins: Did not like it the first time I saw it and grew to love it over subsequent viewings.

Once: Maybe I was tired or just not in the mood the first time I saw it, but I didn't enjoy it other than the great soundtrack. I re-watched it a couples weeks ago and though to myself "Why the hell did I not like this movie? I'm so stupid!"

But wouldn't you be more interested in tying the knot with Pixote (the film)?

I didn't like All The Real Girls that much when I first saw it. Something drew me to see it again and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I would be interested in marrying Pixote (not the film) if she is a girl roughly my age and preferably living in the GTA.

Interesting. I loved George Washington but though All the Real Girls was a bit of a dud. Maybe it deserves another shot.
