Amelie- so many people have not seen it!

For a French movie, it got a lot of attention in the U.S. but there are still many people who have not seen Amelie. I love this movie. It is the perfect marriage of smart and entertaing--a hard combination to come by.

I was enchanted by this movie beginning to end and reflect on it often.

I'm not sure this film is overlooked.  Sure overlooked by the average joe non film appreciater.  But everyone who loves film has seen this movie I'm sure of it.  I definatly have a hard time meeting people who haven't seen it.  And the people who I wish would see it do and they find it boring.  I however LOVE this film too!

One of my favorite flicks of all time.  I could watch Audrey light up the screen and enjoy it even if i found out my dog just got ran over. Its just that entertaining.

It's great for its positive heart. It must be a huge challenge to make a film like this and avoid any kind of sacharine vibe but they nail it.

Actually I haven't seen it (seemed like way too much of a chick flick) but I just added it onto my Netflix account thanks to Audrey Tatou's preformance in The Da Vinci Code, I thought she was so radiant and graceful in an otherwise crappy movie and I had to see more. Hopefully I think its as great as you all do.

A brilliant film score, beautiful cinematography, and a radiant star can go a long way. Add that to a quirky script with some good laughs and heart, and I don't know what more you can want from a movie.

I made sure to record it when it aired on IFC and I was not disappointed. While reading the subtitles it can be hard to focus on the details of the cinematography. I think I'm going to have to watch this again sometime soon.
