Someone should have told me Prep & Landing was a Christmas movie. Yes,  I know, 1SO did, but that doesn't count, because reasons. I recently watched it and I was gutted to realise I was about three weeks too late. Would have been nice to get to it during the season. And it had been sitting there since forever. Ugh.

Like music, if it can only be enjoyed during the season then it isn't very good.

I think I allow for more questionable choices during the holiday season:

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas (TV episode or film? Pandora's Box is open!)
2. It's a Wonderful Life
3. The Night Before (could also be on the comfort film list)
4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
5. Die Hard

I haven't watched Gremlins during the holiday season, so it doesn't make the list yet. I just saw it for the first time last summer, and I love, love, love it.

2. The Holiday
3. The Polar Express
4. Elf
5. Love Actually

Is The Holiday the film with Diaz and Winslet?
