Yesterday at the Rockies game the woman sitting next to us nudged my husband and said, "I really like this batter. He's ambiguous."When John looked puzzled, she explained, "You know, he can bat with either hand."
Oh... the other day I realised how we say "under water" when we really mean "in water."We are certainly under the surface of the water but when you are "under water" you are actually surrounded on all sides by the liquid and are, hence, in it.
And can somebody explain to me the in/on line debacle?
I feel like I may be too lazy for this.
