Rick Santorum has scheduled a series of trips to IOWA for the fall >:(

All I can think of when I hear this scumbag's name is the term coined by Dan Savage. If you read his column you know what I mean.

I will forever be in Mr Savage's debt for appropriating his name in that way...hmmm....frothy...

Surely nobody believes this? [Healthcare = Terrorism]
Believe me, someone always does. Often someone who needs healthcare the most.

Is the public option really dead, or is the Associated Press just doing it's usual thing?

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

I don't know, that was certainly all the spin yesterday but apparently today in the press briefing the press secretary said it isn't.

It will really piss me off if they kill it.  That's a platform Obama got elected on dammit.  People wanted it and they voted for it.  If they wanted to "let the free market take care of it" they would have voted for McCain.

God I wish the Dems would grow a pair.

Best metaphor for Democratic party:

This is so goddamned depressing.  Is Colbert new this week?  I need him.
