WTF - Losing interest, to be honest.  Maron's running out of good interviewees, and I probably skip one out of every three episodes nowadays.

I have only skipped one episode, and that was Gaffigan, way back in the single-digit days. (Because, well, how many jokes about foodstuffs can one man stand?)

I also disagree about the interviewees bit; just in November alone, Maron has talked to: Chris Rock, Rainn Wilson, Adam Scott, Merrill Markoe, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Penn Jillette. Plus, the interview I was the least excited for--Steve Dansiger--which ended up being the best of the bunch.

I'd list all the podcasts I subscribe to but it'd make your head explode.

Sounds like a great podcast idea: "Listing Podcasts Until Your Head Explodes with J-Bizz."

I'll pick up some recording equipment after work!

The Indoor Kids

And I've been catching up on THE BUGLE, to which I had not listened in ages.

I listened to the first episode of The Indoor Kids because I really like Kumail but it was just a lot of "oh remember this certain game we used to play? that was fun!". A lot of that came from Ali Baker. Have things improved?

The Bugle is great. There's few things that I enjoy more than John losing it during one of Andy's painful pun sprees.

I didn't listen (much) during the Ali Baker run. But she only lasted seven episodes, and was subsequently replaced by Emily V. Gordon, Kumail's wife. I know that sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it's actually a great combination: Emily brings her therapist training to the table, and you get to hear her and Kumail argue about their cat. Kumail does engage in a little "hey-rememember-that-game," but the show mostly grooves with the guest. If you want to get back into it, a few places you might want to start from: the video game addiction episode with Tom Lennon, the picking-the-wrong-horse episode with Paul Scheer, and/or the video game adaptations episode with Jeff Rubin.

There's few things that I enjoy more than John losing it during one of Andy's painful pun sprees.

So good.

Oh, is that still on? I heard one of the hosts went crazy and gorged himself to death on cheesecake.

There's a reason I have a bunch I haven't listened to and some favorites on which I'm way behind. I'm sure I'll never catch up with everything.

But I have a 45 min. drive to work in the morning, plus anywhere from 45 to 1:30 on the way home. And I can usually listen to a few hours of stuff at work. And then in various commutes around the city.
