Wow. We agree. It was close, because The Godfather is near and dear to me, but I just like The Conversation more.

Me, too. I don't know if it's his best, probably Apocalypse Now or Godfather ought to go first, but I just don't like them as much.

Tough one, but I went with The Godfather II.  Really, between I and II and The Conversation it is more a matter of what day you catch me on.  Coppola and I share a birthday!  :)

Apocalypse Now.

Never seen The Conversation...  :-[
Just checked: the movie doesn't seem to be available on DVD in Germany. Only option is to order a UK-Import, bit pricey though. I guess it will take some more time for me to see this.

In order of the films I've seen so far:

1.Apocalypse Now/Apocalypse Now Redux
2. The Conversation
3. The Godfather/The Godfather Pt. 2 (tie)
4. Rumble Fish
5. The Outsiders
6. Bram Stoker's Dracula
7. Peggy Sue Got Married
8. Tucker
9. The Rainmaker
10. Garden of Stone

I've seen The Godfather Pt. 3 which is alright.  I don't think Sofia Coppola was the worst thing in the film.  That honor goes to George Hamilton, who I found to be a big distraction and wasn't good enough to fill in Robert Duvall's shoes.

Jack is my least favorite.  I hated it.

I'm interested in One from the Heart because like many great directors, their failures are often equally as interesting as their successes.  I'm also interested in his earlier work as well.
