My mom refuses to watch movies rated R, but wanted to go with me to see Precious. She said it's okay, since it's based on real life. What she doesn't like is the idea of people "making up" terrible things just to make movies.
What does your mom think of your being a lit major, tiny? 'Cause all that fiction stuff isn't real, you know!

You know, that's a conversation we haven't had. Don't mention it to her, ok?
Lips sealed! ;)

My sister-in-law doesn't like science fiction because it isn't realistic, yet loves animation like Up...since flying an entire house on balloons and talking dogs are realistic.

But taking anything in the humanities you learn that everything you do is fiction, anyway...

Sorry you are the only 3 people on earth who dont like this film.  >:(

Not true.  I am a card-carrying Kauffman fan, but don't like Being JM.

Being John Malcovich is not very good. It's philosophical intrigue is under minded by a mediocre love triangle that fails to ever be gripping.

+1

Probably need one more agreement and we can no longer consider this unpopular.

Hi!

While I didn't dislike it, per say, I didn't care much for Cusack or Diaz, and think it's probably the worst Kaufman film (but then I haven't seen Human Nature).

Henry Fonda is really annoying  -  especially in 12 angry men

I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Probably, as far as pure acting ability, guys like Wayne and Bogart certainly had talent, but I'd argue they were more pure charisma.
