Thanks Keith! But I already ate my lunch - how do you think I had the time to comb through that list?

smirnoff should put this on his list of future marathon ideas and provide a more informed response to the question.

There is quite a bit of gray area in what is a zombie.  I don't subscribe to the belief that only undead can qualify (unlike Mark Kermode who seems very strict on this point)-

Don't undermine the issue, Tequila. The poster clearly has beliefs around the topic!

I love that type of stuff, of course it helps that I'm deeply into vampire and zombie lore.

Actually, I do too. Not this specific topic necessarily but in general and shouldn't be making fun of anyone for taking stuff like this seriously :p. Glass houses and all.

Blade 1 and 2 are the only two movies with vampires that I can recall enjoying. Though I've never seen Twilight, or an episode of Buffy, or much else to be honest. So maybe my problem is I'm not watching the right stuff. I didn't even like Count Chocula as a kid... and I LOVE cereal in general.

Zombies on the other hand, I enjoy. Fast or slow. I think the slow zombies knew what they were doing though. They weren't moving slow, they were sneaking! Notice the uncanny ability to get positioned right where someone will back into them. They aren't as dumb as they look. Vampires are way too self-absorbed for that sort of thing. So busy brooding they don't even notice the 100ft shadows they cast all over the place. They just think they're sooo cool.

Worm, you got riled up about how much of a non vampire fan I am :) I don't know if I'm the right man for the job.

I'm sure we can come up with good vampire movies. Near Dark, for example.
