pix should post an 80s One-Hit Wonders: Poll.
I was thinking that today, too, actually.  I'm also going to give Radio Battle one more chance.  And get back to National Film Registry polls.  And learn how to make the world's best spinach lasagna.

Any type of poll would be cool, I just love polls. The Radio Battle turnout has been low, what's up with that crap?

Good luck with the lasagna.

Don't knock it. A hot cup of Ovaltine and Little Orphan Annie can really hit the spot.  :)

In all seriousness I am amazed radio still exists. I consume 100% of my radio via podcasts now. I think this is getting much more common.

Yeah, satellite services, online content, and iPods are killing terrestrial radio, I don't even own one anymore. I regularly stream CBC and NPR online, but I don't even remember the last time i listened to commercial radio. If I drove it might be a different story I guess.

Listening to the radio isn't integral to voting in the polls, though, right?  I mean, I include YouTube videos in case people are unfamiliar with the songs.  I happened to have heard them on the radio, but that's not required of you the voter.

I dunno, seems like music polls might just not be worth it.

I am just not your audience Pix. I listen to no music that post dates 1994 and little that post dates the 19th century.

No definitely not, that conversation was totally separate from the issue of music polls. People listen to music regardless of the health of the radio business.

I dunno, seems like music polls might just not be worth it.
