"Well I was just wonderin' why you would throw home when we got a two-run lead. You let the tying run get on second base and we lost the lead because of you. Start using your head. That's the lump that's three feet above your ass. Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!"

"This is an outrage!  Where's Forrest Gump!?!"

Good question, indignant self ... but Forrest just missed the cut.  In fact, it was the last film left out.  We've added 136 films to the original 64, for a nice even total of 200 films.  And Forrest Gump was film 201.  However—

It seems we have an intruder in our midsts.  Sally Potter's Orlando, which defeated Dead Man in an earlier matchup, is not at all an American film.  So instead of having a bracket of the top 200 US films, we have the top 199 — plus 1 British film.

So here's an idea that you can vote on in the poll above:  We can nullify the Orlando-Dead Man verdict, force Dead Man to compete in a new first round matchup, and replace Orlando with Forrest Gump.

What do you think?  Vote above.
