In some ways, but if Prometheus is rated that low (which I assume to be largely a screenplay issue) then Covenant isn't going to raise the opinion on Ridley Scott or the Alien franchise by much.

But the dual Fassbender performance is superb and there are some good scares. I'm not sure it's amazing, but it is good.

That's your opinion and it comes from... what did you rate Prometheus? I'm saying that based on AliceGuyBlache's low rating/ranking for Prometheus, Covenant isn't a wise recommendation. If he watched that, he might never see Black Hawk Down.

The Duelists and Black Hawk Down in my opinion.

Legend has some great visual effects but the story is extremely corny.

Black Hawk Down, but know that it takes a while to get going.

Kingdom of Heaven, but only the Director's Cut

Legend is also far superior in the Director's Cut, but maybe one notch short of Essential.
