Not impressed by, possibly should give it another try
Ummagumma

I never liked the studio side but always thought the live disk was good

I will need to do a search on YouTube as I cannot play my vinyl version (no record player).

First 4 tracks are the live disk

You have a lot of vinyl?  I have heard a few good setups and wish I had a turntable but it just would cost me too much money

This is a correct assessment of that album (the studio side is an abomination frankly).

The live side notably features Careful With That Axe, Eugene, which doesn't appear on any of their studio albums.

The studio side is genius, in my opinion.  Sisyphus, Several Small Species... are among my favorite Floyd songs.  It is a collection of solo efforts, which is spotty as a whole, but the bright spots are really bright.

Oh, I did forget about Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave Grooving with a Pict... that one is great, I agree. I mean Ummagumma is the most out there of their albums (which is saying something), so it either really works (I'm not going to write that title again) or really doesn't (Sisyphus, for me at least). It feels like a rehearsal for Atom Heart Mother.

I guess I didn't answer the OP question here, so :

Great :
1. The Dark Side of the Moon (my favorite album of all time)
2. The Wall
3. Meddle
4. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
5. Atom Heart Mother

Good :
6. Wish You Were Here
7. Animals
8. Obscured By Clouds

Fine :
9. A Saucerful of Secrets
10. The Final Cut
11. More
12. The Endless River

Bad (though always with some redeeming qualities like High Hopes in The Division Bell)
13. A Momentary Lapse of Reason
14. Ummagumma
15. The Division Bell

I guess I never fully ranked the catalog.  If you have older CDs, the "recent" re-releases that were remastered have a noticeable improvement in sound quality and mix.  The SACD of WYWH is briliiant but limited to the SACD.  I can't find the have made any of them HiRes downloads yet.

Great:
Wish You Were Here
The Wall
The Final Cut
Obscured By Clouds

Good:
Animals
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
Meddle
Atom Heart Mother
The Dark Side of the Moon
A Saucerful of Secrets

Fine
The Endless River
Ummagumma

Hard to judge: I haven't listened to AMLoR since the year it was released and I have only heard a couple of individual songs of The Division Bell.

The more I listen to The Division Bell, the better I love it.  Momentary has gone up and down for me, but there are certain pieces, like Sorrow that have really grown in my estimation.

The David Gilmour Live DVD "In Concert" is quite great.  I think I only know the songs in here from Division Bell.  I probably should give them album a try
