Just chiming in to say that PARIS IS BURNING is the greatest documentary of all time.

March:

The Prince of Tides - Never seen it. I've never really considered it, though the description does sound like a movie I might enjoy. Terrible cover, though. Possible rental.

Salesman - Cool that they're including the "Documentary Now" spoof, but I have no need to see this again. Pass.

Bamboozled - Never got around to this one, but definitely curious. Rental.

The Cranes Are Flying - One of my top 250. Long overdue, and finally with some decent extras. Purchase.

Leave Her to Heaven - I owned the Twilight Time Blu-Ray, and sold it off (unfortunately before it was worth a ton of money) because I didn't love it quite enough. And yet, here I am, tempted to buy it again. Still, probably pass.

Show Boat - And another one I've never seen. Mildly curious, possible rental.

This falls on a list of films that I have scene too many times due to a friend in university, she obsessively rewatched a small list of films.

The Prince of Tides
Grease
Benny and Joon
Love Story
Untamed Heart
Gone with the Wind

If it sounds like the type of movie you like, then you probably should go rent it as it is pretty well done. Just overplayed for myself.

Think Bamboozled is one of the best Spikes I've seen.

So the New Year's drawing, which for many years has been a huge splash of obscure hints for upcoming releases, this year only suggests four:

a Wong Kar-Wai box
a Fellini box
an Agnes Varda box
and a Bruce Lee box

I would possibly buy a Fellini box, if it has Blu-Rays of Nights of Cabiria and Juliet of the Spirits that I couldn't buy separately.

April:

The Grand Budapest Hotel - yep, I'm all over this. Feels like it took forever to get here. Purchase.

Destry Rides Again - Never saw it, but I like Stewart and Dietrich and it sounds fun. Rental.

Me and You and Everyone We Know - Nah, no interest in seeing this again. Pass.

The Cremator - Didn't like this one much either. Pass.

Army of Shadows - I really liked this at the time (I gave it an 86, same as Grand Budapest Hotel) and yet I have no desire at all to revisit it. Pass.

I've been banging the drum on this one for almost 10 years, while it's steadily made its way into my Top 100.
