I’m a bigger fan than most, but I’d say Nolan’s work (particularly on the last two films) has been on a downward tragectory toward highly competent cinematic mediocrity ... as I am sure many of his critics would characterize all of his work; but I’ve revisited all of these but one over the last two years, and I would stand by my ratings.

I got excited for a brief second and then realized you probably didn't mean the French animated film when you said The Illusionist.
