That's awesome! I play occasionally at my local casino, and monthly in a very low stakes home game with friends. We often play Bomb Pots, where everyone antes like 4 big blinds and action goes straight to the flop, no pre-flop action.

Was the tournament a daily at one of the LA casinos?

At the table was a person who plays a game with friends and he has a rule that if you win with a 7-2, you collect a bonus from everyone else at the table. I love that idea.

that is how we use to pay as well, fold or not, if somebody won with 7-2, all players had to pay them a bonus. Always fun when somebody with 7-2 had no hand at all but managed to get somebody with a much better hand to fold with a bluff.

Turned in a new, and hopefully final, draft of a feature script to the producers and director my wife and I have been working with. If they approve it's going out to actresses and financiers.

1S0 is now jacks haha!  I play a little myself, won some in Cleveland this past summer and took down a bunch in Austria (something like 3 grand in euros on an off night from school).  There's some back room games I'll sit in, used to do it all the time after evidence, but school is so busy now.  Would love to play in a Filmspotting tournament! :)
