I just had a conversation with a friend on Facebook about this last week.  We agreed that it's silly but we still perk up when we see redbands at the beginning of trailers, like, oooh, we are going to see something naughty!

I pay an extra level of attention if only to notice what in particular made this a redband trailer.

The Zombieland regular trailer surprised me at how gory it was. I don't know what they would put in the redband to make it worse.

The young nerdy guy uses the f word and a topless stripper flees the zombies.

I trend I've noted over the last 20 years.  But hey - there's an envelope to be pushed.

The double post seems necessary to me sometimes. If your talking about two different things a single post can feel cluttered.

I prefer two posts if they're on two topics.  Helps when you're trying to skim while catching up on a thread or looking back to find an earlier post

When I respond to something not realizing I'm looking at a post that's 3 pages back.

When I respond to something 3 pages back without realizing two other people had the same response

or (inversely)

When I check to make sure other people didn't reply before posting but I either get distracted or can't find the original again :(
