people who claim Micheal Moore "lies" or "plays fast a loose with the truth" without a shred of evidence to back it up. As if wishing makes it so.

It's been backed up plenty of times by all kinds of different people. We just choose to go about our business quietly, thus our voices are drowned out compared to that of the liar in question.

Well actually it hasnt, but I am not going to get into a big fight. He has made some minor errors which he admits (as has every single documentarian ever). The bulk of his films have never been shown to be anything but 100% based on fact.

No one's getting into a big fight over it, Moore is only worth one argument from me per month, so don't worry. But, it has been backed up, articles have done so, a documentary did so and regular joes such as myself have done so in various mediums as well. We're just quiet and don't care to be loud and be in the spotlight, hence the loud one who is a spotlight hog drowns us out.

Herzog is in a bunch of his docs. Does that make him bad too?

Pet peeve? The above discussion coming back again.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I explained very clearly in the other topic the difference between someone being in their doc and the way that Moore handles it, I see no reason to rehash that discussion again.

when it's constantly raining and I have to walk to work or class and not ride my bike to keep from getting thoroughly soaked.
You need something like this:

This happens at least twice a week - I'll be in line at my work's cafeteria and someone will try to have a conversation with the cashier in "Spanish"

A rough example from this morning:

Lady buying some gross breakfast sandwich: "Buenas deeyas"
Cashier lady: "Hi, haven't seen you around in a while"
Lady: "I've been busy with my trabahjo since June, how do you say "June"?
Cashier: "Junio"
Lady: "Juneau"

"Inez is making a clay pot that she seems very proud of."

Edit:

IMDB tells me the quote is: "Inez is holding a clay pot, of which she seems to be very proud." This disturbs me because I can clearly hear Jan Hooks dangling her preposition. Someone please confirm that IMDB is wrong; it would shake me to my foundations to know I've been wrongly quoting it my whole life.
