At some point in the last couple days my desktop clock stopped showing me EST. :-\ It says it's on EST but it isn't. The daylight savings option doesn't seem to change anything... and syncing it just puts it an hour back...

Bleh.

When people can't disassociate a TV show from the book it is based on. It gets so tiresome to hear, "I don't know what direction the show is going in, because in the book this happens, but in the show this happens, and the two don't add up, that doesn't make any sense." Sweet lord people, the book is one thing, the TV show is another, they don't have to add up, watch the show and enjoy it for what it is or don't bother watching. At the very least quit trying to compare the two and give your honest thoughts about the TV show, because I'm tempted to find you and punch you in the face if all you continue to do is cry about how you don't know what will happen in season 2 because the first season didn't follow the ending of the book.

I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

People who come into my restaurant 15 minutes before we close, then sit there until 30 minutes after we close then don't even leave a tip. Really? Does this seem like a polite, decent thing to do?
