Tutters. people who 'tut', usually at the news. It runs down my Mums side of the family - my Grandad did it, my old dear does it and my brother does it and it drives me insane. It says nothing.....
nothing..... about anything - it's just moral masturbation - do people 'tut' when theyre on their own? My own findings suggest they do not. (i have, somewhat shamefully, done some research into this ie leaving recording devices in rooms with 'tutters' when the news is on. Sad, i know, but thats how
annoyed it makes me).
Almost as irritating is rhetorically saying vague nothings like "oooh - its terrible, terrible!", which is almost as bad. Most of the sh*t on the news
is terrible, yeah, but just saying that out loud to yourself i think demonstrates a lack of imagination - is that
all there is to say about these issues? No, so unless you've got something relevant to say, don't bother. Its like saying "this is a table" or "this is a fork". No conversation, no insight. Just pointless mundanity.

aaaaaand relax.
