Finally, after deciding what bike I want (a process that took months), I find out that the company has sold all the 2010 models and there's no way I can get it. Ugh. Now I either find something else or wait for next years model. Neither option is very satisfying.

When you say bike do you mean "bicycle" or "motorcycle"?  Either way I bet there's a dealer out there somewhere who still has some.  When a particular line or piece of clothing is "sold out" at stores I can usually find it on Ebay...

Getting an email from Amazon hyping a book coming out 6/15 called Stories: All New Tales by Neil Gaiman.  Wow cool!  Except when I click over to the actual ordering page, it's an anthology edited by Neil Gaiman and some other guy.  Nowhere is it implied in the email ad that it's an anthology, not a collection of Gaiman stories.  Feh.

Those stringy bits that hang out when you peel a banana. Ugh.
