LOCK YOUR DOORS!  THEY'RE COMING!

Haha, try a bit more terrifying. I mean the sun is up in this picture, the kid has a helmet on, and he isn't quite chubby enough. Plus I know for a fact these kids didn't know how to smile.

...discovering which German words the English language has appropriated.

Except the audience gets the jokes. It's subtle use of verfremundungseffekt. I think Gould's Marlowe is the fore-runner of the Bill Murray style protagonist.

Although Matty threw in a few letters too many. It's Verfremdungseffekt. [/smartass]

I think we've mined French for all its worth, German is the next step. I blame Volkswagen.

I think he did that to enhance the Brechtian alienation.

Ah, yeah, there was another one earlier confessing an inability to choose between two films in a round two matchup in the knockout tournament.

rain delay music...and dumb guys who run onto the field to slide on the tarp, run around the outfield, and get tackled by cops.

Did you see the lady go under the tarp? Also, when I was at the Phillies' game on Saturday and we had our rain delay, as soon as the delay started they played "Umbrella" and I was slightly ashamed.

yea, I saw it, pretty awesome, especially when she jumped out and was okay. I was disappointed they didn't show the guys runnin' around on Sportscenter. I stayed all the way through the rain delay, and then they started playing and it started to pour again, and they put the tarp back on, so we left. But then when we were walking back to the car it stopped raining altogether. I was mad, but it was a good time anyway.
