Watching three movies in a row. I've missed it.

Martini has nothing to do with it.

Me too.  I used to watch 2 films a week in the theatre, easily over 100 a year.  Come Oscar time, I'd watch 3-4 movies per theatre visit and for a few years I had access to Oscar screeners.  (Man, I Loved and very much miss screeners.)

when people take their MDC seriously....three November reviews tonight!  Nice job folks!  :)
I just joined the club a couple of months ago, and immediately got a reputation as the MDC police.  My protests against people who continue to dictate without honoring their own dictations led to the Outstanding Subjections Thread.  I was anxious to hear from my new dictator 'Noke - who I knew was on hiatus - so I could place his selection at the top of my queue.  I look at MDC as mini-marathons and often try to watch other dictations that I haven't seen.  I saw 4 from October that haven't been discussed yet, 1 of which I really admired.

... everyone here. I really do.
I 2nd this.  You all have become my expanded film discussion family, and love the mutual respect for each others opinions shared on these boards.  I love how over time, the personality comes through the Avatar and Board Name.  (And sometimes we get pictures too.)  We are collectively a real special bunch, and I hope I never annoy any of you.

I hope - but doubt - I'll have time to be a major player in the upcoming Best of the Decade threads.  I did something very similar for the 90's, and planned to break it down into all kinds of categories.
And I hope that maybe in a few months we can take another look at the Top Directors Working Today.  I'm interested in how the landscape has shifted.
