What about just saving The Happening until next week.  Otherwise a movie I would recommend is The Strangers.  It is a really effective psychological horror movie.  Also Capone liked it and Scott Smith raved about it.

Other Possibilities:
The Promotion
Reprise
The Foot Fist Way
Chronicles of Narnia
My Winipeg
Baghead
Quid Pro Quo

Scott Smith raved about it... where?

No interest in reviewing: Foot Fist, Narnia, Baghead, Strangers
Little interest in reviewing: Promotion
Not playing: Reprise, Quid Pro Quo
Want to see again but no need to discuss again: My Winnipeg

The Edge of Heaven made it to the US?
Now that would be interesting. It was very well received around here (even won a European Film award).

Really loved the Guy Maddin interview from #117.

My Winnipeg is finally opening in Winnipeg (where I live) later this month. Guy Maddin is narrating live at the premiere. Should be great.
