Well, I'm also going against popular opinion, but I don't hate Dead Man, it's just my second-least favorite of his films. I didn't like his latest.

1. Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai
2. Night on Earth
3. Stranger Than Paradise
4. Down by Law
5. Mystery Train
6. Coffee and Cigarettes
7. Broken Flowers
8. Dead Man
9. The Limits of Control

Stranger than Paradise Jim Jarmusch, 1984

Pretty sure nothing happens in this movie. Which is good. Pretty sure it's more of an attitude than a movie. Which is fine. All the hats and affectations, the new youth of america, the delicately handled boredom, the Eszter Balint principle (boredom, youth, enthusiasm, disappointment all rolled into a single glance), another fragment that says nothing. It's also a comedy. Maybe a sad one. Maybe a slow one. Motel rooms and gambling and hot dog stands; where now are the dreams of youth?

Only Lovers Left Alive
Stranger Than Paradise
Ghost Dog
Paterson
Down By Law
Mystery Train
Broken Flowers
The Dead Don't Die
Coffee and Cigarettes
Night on Earth

Also seen, but not remembering much: Mystery Train, Night on Earth, Ghost Dog.
I do remember loving all his 80's films + Night On Earth some 20 years ago, but revisiting them and catching up with missed ones turns out to be a rather disenchanting experience.

I'm going for Ghost Dog.

I liked Broken Flowers but Coffee and Cigarettes was kinda weird for me.

Huge fan. Pretty big gap between his major and minor works (top 4 is major for me), but he's consistently interesting. Will see Coffee & Cigarettes soon, but nobody seems to be too enthusiastic about that one.

1. Dead Man (9/10)
2. The Limits of Control (9/10)
3. Stranger Than Paradise (9/10)
4. Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (8/10)
5. Night on Earth (7/10)
6. Mystery Train (7/10)
7. Broken Flowers (7/10)
8. Down By Law (6/10)
