Dear Netflix,

Thanks for the email. Your abject lack of understanding about what movies I might like continues to amuse me.

Love,

I find it funny how often I get annoyed by the streaming sites trying to recommend stuff based on genre or the personnel involved in a movie. Why can't these dumb sites realize that my movie watching interests sway with a carefully calibrated swath of podcasts, critics, and online friends!? Perhaps I need to look in the mirror, and realize I am the problem  :(

...no, it is Netflix who is wrong.

Dear Major League Baseball,

You may be surprised to learn that Independence Day and Memorial Day are not the same thing.

Thanks,

And that neither is Veteran's Day.

It's like they're jealous that the NFL plays games in November.

Move to Arizona, no Daylight Saving Time!

Too many snakes. I'll see one every so often in NJ, and we definitely have them, but it's mostly avoidable. Not sure I'd fare well in a climate that's more suitable to reptiles without living in more constant fear than normal.

I don’t have it either but  since most of the rest of the world does, it screw me up as well.  I switch from having 7 am or 8am meetings to having 6am or 7 am meetings Tuesday through Friday.  I have to say it again, FLY is right,
