I quite liked
In the Bedroom
but despised
Little Children
. Don't think I've had as vastly difference a response to two different films by a single director since Gaspar Noe's
I Stand Alone
and
Irreversible
. I don't think he's much of a director as a visual stylist.

The Poll options used to say something else. The responses weren't matching up to the choices. I reset vote counts to 0 and unlocked the poll.

I see I broke my own rule here, putting up a poll for someone with only two features. It's clear from the thread that many believed he was on his way to greatness, but his last film was in 2006! What's he doing for money?
