Brag about how you are on a beach getting waited upon while the rest of us are sitting at our boring desks.

I may or may not be going to North Carolina for a week in August. Food and lodging free courtesy of my friend's family. This would be awesome.

When I was there - I went to Griffith Park Observatory - it's free and has been in a few films, most notably Rebel Without a Cause and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle...

The exhibits were way cool and the view is amazing - plus it's free. ;D

I'm off to san diego on thursday... granted I'm only staying until monday, but woo hoo!!!! I'm doing wine tasting on my birthday, than my last roommate graduates on saturday... and I'll go to the beach sunday... yeah!!!

Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist.  Throw some ground balls.  More democratic.

Anniversary weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This August - long weekend in Chicago.

At the rate my vacation has built up, I will probably take off 3/4 of of December.

I'm going to San Diego for a conference in July, but I don't think there will be much vacationing involved.  Then I come home for a week of jury duty, and then in August I go back to California for a conference in Monterey.  This one should be a little more vacation friendly, and I'll probably spend a couple of days in San Francisco before or afterwards.
