Don't give him ideas.. they may go over the side.

You should leave secret clues around the city in famous works of art that I can follow when I go there in early June. Don't worry, I'll bring Tom Hanks with me to help with extensive knowledge of things that don't really mean anything.

Thanks Sandy!

jdc - I will be on the Lido deck reading Natalie Woods' biography, which I consider fair warning.

Junior - you're on.  Of course by "clues" I'll assume you mean "mustaches".   ;D

The Browns' Easter Vacation took us to Rome, Florence, Corsica, Sardinia, Menorca, Ibiza, Valencia and Barcelona.  A few snaps from along the way.

Rome, Good Friday  551 steps to the top of St. Peter's Basilica.  Quite disappointed by the lack of a concession stand.

Outside the Vatican post office, widely considered one of the best postal systems in the world. More letters are sent each year, per inhabitant, from the Vatican's 00120 postal code than from anywhere else in the world. But you would already know that if you'd seen Hudson Hawk.

Rome, Good Friday  I thought the Illuminati would be much harder to spot.

Rome  Outside the Pantheon: this bird.

Rome  Inside the Pantheon.  Know what's not here?  The Apartment, Dog Day Afternoon, Godfather, Star Wars, etc.  (Adam, you got some 'splainin' to do....)

Pisa, Italy Looks straight to me!

Totally getting in the way of the shot.

Florence, Italy  This Duomo be illin', yo.

Mercado Central in Valencia, Spain
Finally relented and told Charlotte she could have a bunny rabbit. Told her to pick whichever one she wanted, but she was totally uninterested. I guess it was just a phase....

Barcelona  Guell Parc

Barcelona  All she wants to do is dance, dance, dance....

Barcelona  Gaudi's Sagrada Familia.  Without a doubt the most amazing place I've ever been.  Construction started in 1882.  Due for completion in 2026, the centennial of Gaudi's demise. 2026.

Haha! Those rabbits are dank.

Looks like a fun trip. One of the guys in a couple of my classes actually did a tour of Italy with his wife from Good Friday through the following week with many of the same city stops. Everyone I know who has gone says it's a fantastic, if hectic, vacation

Pisa's Tired Trope

Holding up the tower...original & hilarious!

Nailed it.

Single-handed!  So strong....

Mildly embarrassed.

Not even trying.

Sometimes it takes two.

Holding up the Tower or busting an awesome dance move?

Awesome pics, jim! Didn't realize you were going to Barcelona, too; we have good friends who live there and we'd love to visit them again soon - both to see them and to see the city again.  :)  La Sagrada Familia - incredible, right?
