Basil is the greatest person ever.

Quod erat demonstrandum.

Thanks, but was it the correct decision?

For sure.  I would have weaseled out of my "greatest ever" prediction otherwise.  I mean, I didn't think Shakespeare in Love belonged in the bracket in the first place.  Advancing it to the second round over Scissorhands would have been ... I don't even want to think about it.

(By the way, your actual verdict is still among my six remaining pages of unread threads.  More on that later, maybe.)

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Your mom is as beautiful as 10,000 sunsets on Tattooine.
It's like I've waited my whole life, for this one night.  It's gon' be me you and the dance floor.  We've only got one night.  Double your pleasure, double your fun.  And dance forever.

Basil is talented.

(And Syd Field is a destructive force.)
