I thought of your marathon, CD, which was fantastic.  I  :-[ didn't know about your marathon, pix.   Perhaps I'll just start on my own and invite others to join.

I'm just putting my reviews in the director thread, rather than in a separate marathon thread. Same with Ford and Wyler.

Reviews of Blackmail [sound] and The Iron Horse forthcoming.

I have a few at home that I have never watched and I would be open to try them for a marathon. I would also like to rewatch some of the better ones, so I guess what I am saying is, I am pretty much game.

I never realised there were thirty months in the US.

This can't be the first time you've noticed that we do month/day

It's not. You may have noticed that I am prone to making silly comments on occasion.

Also, here are my Hitchcock reviews if you're interested Melissa.

I'll also plug Sam's writing, even if he didn't complete his whole filmography...
Thanks, CD! I remember your Hitch marathon, and I'm looking forward to re-reading. Thanks for the link to Sam's stuff, too.

A new marathon thread might be cool, oldkid, though the director thread would be fine, too? I try to hop in, either way, when I can.

I have all the Hitchcock films and I'm running out of excuses. Perhaps I shall return to that project.

As the step-father of The Top 100 Club, I want to say thanks to all the participants. Every month we go where everyone gets a review in, and many get quite a few in, makes me so proud and happy. It is probably the most gratifying activity I've had on the forum as a general celebration of film, a spur of frequently good discussions, and even where films don't work, usually a context that makes people be creative in their disagreement.

My current situation has me watching no TV and very few movies.  I do try to go out a couple times a month to the theatre and get in a couple movies on my laptop at home, which I usually have to find on Youtube.  So far I have been able to stay current in the Top 100.  I think I know what I will watch from your list this month once I find the subtitles to download.

Hear hear ! And thank you for organizing it (and Martin for originating it).
