Brazil is the one, but The Baron is a close 2nd.  It's a visual feast for the eyes...like Tarsem's The Fall but with a story you care a lot more about.

The greatest stretch of Gilliam's genius is in The Fisher King.  It starts at the end of the date with Robin William's heartbreaking speech to Amanda Plummer professing his love.  That great moment of performance is then matched by the visual spectacle of Williams being (literally) chased by his demon while he remembers the moment his wife was taken from him.  The tricky but seamless editing is matched only by the breathtaking image of his wife endlessly falling.  This 10 minutes tops everything, even the Grand Central Station ballroom dance sequence from earlier in the film.

I hate these CINECASTing polls, making me want to do all of these mini-marathons!
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Easily.  It's one of my all-time favorite films ever made.
