Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: It's the best adaptation of written material I have ever seen. Plus they captured acid trips pretty well (outside of the blood drinking lizards)...Depp is brilliant as Hunter Thompson.

For a second there, I was really hopeful that Twelve Monkeys would stage an upset win.

Went with The Fisher King, but it was a close call with many in second place.

went with Time Bandits. It has high nostalgia value for me, plus i saw it again about three weeks ago and it was still brilliant.

Thank you very much! Thank you very much. Thank you very very very VERY much!.....

1. Brazil
2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

3. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
4. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
5. 12 Monkeys
6. The Miracle of Flight
7. Tideland
8. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

9. Time Bandits

If you want to count "The Crimson Permanent Assurance" as its own film, it'd be my #2 or 3.

I have four of his in my top list:
Brazil
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Tideland
The Fisher King

It is difficult to know which is my favorite, I love them all. His other films have a lot of imagination in them, but they don't work near as well for me as these four.
