My first poll on Paul Greengrass it seems was a bit conservative.  Most of you say he's flat out Great.  So I decided to add a 2nd poll and maybe better find out How Great you think he is.

Does he make the short list, which includes (so far) P.T. Anderson, The Coen Bros. and David Fincher?  Or is he more like Alfonso Cauron, where the best is still to come?  Maybe he's peaked and in a couple of film's we'll be tired of his technique.

I think he's one of the best.  And further more, Great Britain is home to 3 of the worlds finest directors, at the moment.

Paul Greengrass
Joe Wright
Christopher Nolan

And yet, the film industry is still just treading water in this part of the world.  Horrible.

There's also directors like Ken Loach, Mike Leigh and Jim Sheridan, but you might have been naming directors with both artistic and financial success.  To that end, I would add genre directors Edgar Wright and Neil Marshall who are both coming up fast.
Plus Neil Jordan and Danny Boyle who bounces between success and failure (both artistic and financial.)

Don't get me wrong, I love those guys.  But these are the guys getting Awards as well as critical and financial success.  These are three guys I'd name as among the ten best directors in the world.
