I think he's one of the best.  And further more, Great Britain is home to 3 of the worlds finest directors, at the moment.

Paul Greengrass
Joe Wright
Christopher Nolan

And yet, the film industry is still just treading water in this part of the world.  Horrible.

Joe Wright is meh.

Joe Wright's only made two feature films so far and thus doesn't even qualify.

To me he qualifies because those two features are far and away two of the best films I've seen in years, both earning the top spots on my year end lists of their respective years.  He counts cause he makes tremendously great films.  He'll be nominated this year, as will his new film.  So, I think he qualifies.

I didn't know he had another film coming out this year. Looks promising. I'm tempted to toss up the idea of a Performer of the Year Filmspot, just for the amazing year Robert Downey Jr. is sure to have.

He's one of the most promising directors to emerge this decade.  United 93 was the best of its year and his Bourne movies are sort of the gold standard for recent large budget mainstream action movies.  If he keeps up this pace he could go anywhere.
