Such a fun film! It's one of those that slipped through the cracks, but it's lingered in my imagination since the first time I saw it. It was a very great surprise when I stumbled upon it. Recently purchased it as well (for criminally cheap), so looking forward to watching it again.

i put it in my blog's cinematic alphabet quiz (screen shots). i'm pretty sure it separates the men form the boys; the women from the girls.  :)

Ah, I remember loving this when it came out, thanks for the reminder. Definitely time for a re-watch. Pullman's deadpan face just cracks me up. I liked him in The Last Seduction and You Kill Me too - any other good Pullman roles?

I'll be completely predictable:

Pullman cracks me up in While You Were Sleeping every time I watch it. Very low key and even some of that deadpan you're talking about orangutangle. Love your name and welcome!

Wow, I can't imagine him in a rom-com, he's usually quite eccentric. I'll have to watch this.

Also, wasn't he in The Serpent and the Rainbow? I have hazy memories of that being pretty bonkers.

I thought of a couple but realized those was Paxton, not Pullman.  But I loved Zero Effect

Oh wait.. Brain Dead (1990) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099173/

Though I have to admit that I was maybe a bit out of my mind at the time of watching it..

I've always thought this was a brilliant little gem. It crosses my mind several times a year, and every few years I sit down and watch it.
