Best Actress Oscars of the 90s

seems like better winners here than in the actor counterpart, eh?
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Definitely.

I'm torn on this one. I love Hunter's performance in The Piano - amazing what she can do in a part with virtually no speaking.

And Frances McDormand created an iconic performance in Fargo.

But I think I'm going to go with Emma Thompson in Howard's End, beautifully understated, so much going on beneath the surface.

yeah, i have a good feeling for that performance, though i don't really remember it well, having not experienced it since theatrical release.

I went with Frances as I've never seen The Piano. Please don't hurt me.
