1. Seven Samurai
2. Rashomon
3. Ran
I found Ran incredibly slow and was nowhere near as engaged as I was with the other two, need to rewatch.

Rashomon

I think it may well be the most well told story ever captured on film.

Why isn't there 'I like all of them' category?

Stray Dog is a really good alternative to the classics, but it's hard to beat Seven Samurai.

I also think Throne of Blood is the best Shakespeare adaptation ever...

Ugg...I really like the Shakespeare pacing of the dialogue and think translating it to another language ruins it. I still like the film I just don't think it works fantastically as a Shakespeare adaptation.

Seen Ran, Rashomon, Seven Samurai... voted for "haven't liked anything I've seen".
