I found Ran incredibly slow and was nowhere near as engaged as I was with the other two, need to rewatch.

Why isn't there 'I like all of them' category?

Stray Dog is a really good alternative to the classics, but it's hard to beat Seven Samurai.

I also think Throne of Blood is the best Shakespeare adaptation ever...

Ugg...I really like the Shakespeare pacing of the dialogue and think translating it to another language ruins it. I still like the film I just don't think it works fantastically as a Shakespeare adaptation.
