Because of the awesomeness.

Despite being on opposing sides, I'm inclined to agree on that point alone.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I thought about this choice long and hard and finally went with Die Hard. No surprise that the votes are almost dead even. While Back to the Future is a quintessential 80's flick die Hard is a quintessential one man against throngs of bad guys flick. If I was asked to pick a movie that defines both of these types of movies both would be in the top 5. Like them both equally but would forced myself to choose one. In the end, Yippi Kay Yah Mother Fla la la!

Of course, I can't stay this reasonable for long (my mustache and monocle only go so far) and I do have to end on a more serious note: If you don't vote for Back to the Future I will personally coax Michael Bay into making three more Transformers films, each longer and more stupefying than the next. I will then get him to do remakes of Casablanca, Citizen Kane, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rear Window.

I do think the choice is clear.

On a more humerous note, if Michael Bay makes that Casablanca remake I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish

One of these is funny, the other has jokes about incest.

I think I may have brought this up before...

That's why it's funny.
