Similarly, the reference to Reagan in BttF reinforces the greatness of his presidency.

pixote

Similarly, Reagan's quoting of Back to the Future reinforces its greatness as a film.

And yet Die Hard still leads. The people know what they like.

BttF won the poll on the main site by a huge margin. I suspect BttF will once again take the lead here eventually.

yeah, like casual filmspotters know what they're talking about.

Adam can tell you that even casual filmspotting listeners are highly intelligent and know enough about film to say that Back to the Future is better than Die Hard. It's the people here that don't know what they're talking about ;)

Wishful thinking.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Don't make me write a Reelists article about why the Bond franchise has consistently produced some of the very worst action films ever.

That would only lead to the inevitable backlash from enlightened and faithful readers. Be careful with what you do, boy...

Yeah. It wouldn't be truthful anyway. A lot of those movies are quite good.

I'm so sorry. I didn't really mean it. It was a heat of the moment type thing. How can I make it up to you?

I just might make a Be Corndog's BFF competition, which would be open to all, including you, and you would have to compete, just like you made people compete for you before.

StarCarly exempt, of course.
