oldkid, why no Presto?

Martin, Because of Brave opening this weekend and the blog post Matt Singer put up I bumped the Pixar threads (and created the new one). This was in the hopes of generating some discussion. (I hate 'pending'.)

mousterpiece, I can edit polls, but then it locks voting and Id rather not do that right after bumping the thread. (The Mods are probably wise not to hand me powers.)

Really surprised that there's not 1 vote for One Man Band.

Only two are any good, but Boundin' in the best. Probably made better because it premiered in front of the worst film, right?

You should watch this again, FLY. Not really sure what you're trying to get at here, but in all likelihood you are wrong with this pick. It has clearly floated away in to the great chasm beyond, so in actuality it can't be that great, right?

Why on earth is there a "Pixar Day", and why is it today?

This is a good question.

However, it just gives me all the more reason to bring out the hate! It's been too long, bb!

Whereas I am surprised there are any votes for Boundin'. I can't stand that short at all. Just very precious and twee and...blurgh.

Honestly, Presto, One Man Band and For the Birds are a three-way tie

I like Boundin', but it has too much of a feel of a Dr. Seuss book.  I'd rather read it than watch it.

La Luna: It is pretty as all the rest of Pixar but entirely undistinguished as a film.

Agree. Some nice animation, but very slight and the characters don't make a strong impression beyond their physical appearance. Even Lifted gives you more than this.

Bumping this up, because it sort of needs an update.

Now that I've updated it, can it be bumped back down?
