I was hoping to join too but just thought I was too late.

I would happily swap dictates with Coriande or anyone willing...

I'm already anxious for May.  Are there any leftover folks who didn't get dictated to for April?  I've got a "free" weekend and can probably help out if need be.  Heaven forbid I actually read a book instead of watching tv/movies...

Have you considered joining the The Top 100 Club

I have seen it observed more than once that there was a recent period of lessened activity on this forum. Apparently, attendance for the most popular threads decreased and some less fortunate ones died off completely.

Since participation has since, reportedly, increased, I perused for some now inactive threads to see if there might be a general interest in reviving them. We could just pick things up from where they were or create new successor threads to mark the resurrection, a bit like how we (Bondo) created a v2 of the Top 100 Club thread when Martin retired. And if part of the reason these threads started being neglected had something to do with their rules we could take the opportunity to revamp the way they work to make them more inviting for every one.

Any takers ?

I used to handle all the MDC stuff.  If you want to revive it and get enough takers, be my guest.  We used to decide on a theme each month then I would use a list randomizer to pair everyone up, but it gets tricky because you don't want to keep pairing up the same people each month, which is why you need a lot of participants.  Also, people will PM you and ask not to be paired up with certain others.  It gets a bit messy.  :)

Wow. Does that happen a lot ?

I don't know if I could take over a thread that way. I would not want it to die because of an absence of a couple of months on my part.

It didn't happen a lot, but it did happen.
