I'm relying on the first two posts in the Movie Openings 2008 thread to answer most eligibility questions.  Both those films are on there (Taxi to the Dark Side - January 18th, The Counterfeiters - February 22nd), so they are definitely eligible for this year.  But, speaking just for myself, I'm pretty much up for including any of these 'were they last year or this year' films, assuming they didn't get nominated for any Filmspots in 2007.

State Legislature isn't on that Movie Openings list, by the way, but I've included it in this thread in the hope that it gets some sort of release this year.  It previewed in New York back in February, but I'm not sure what's happened with it since.  Where/when did you see it, Verite?
