Seconds.

Manchurian Candidate is undoubtedly brilliant, but Seconds might just be the scariest movie ever made. My mum's comment after I made her watch it was:

"So, what happened in Frankenheimer's childhood to make him want to make films like that?"
Wanting for Thor what Thor wants for Thor.

Manchurian Candidate. There's nothing like a good paranoid political thriller to get me interested.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

No love for The Island of Dr. Moreau? Guess that'll be in the worst thread.

I'll go with the masses on this one, because they're right.

I'm assuming Dr. Moreau is the Val Kilmer remake?  If so, tragically, that appears to be the only Frankenheimer film I've seen so far.  Guess I have to go for "don't like any I've seen" but keep in mind that's a data pool of 1.

I actually kind of thought the Manchurian Candidate was kind of mediocre. Maybe my expectations were just too high.
