I don't want to watch non-OAR The Puppetmaster, but if one of you does there are subs for Blues Harp that match that youtube video.

I looked for the subs but didn't find them?

I was going to take you up on that, but I think I confused the Puppetmaster with another film, thought my library had it but they don't.

They're on opensubtitle, but I'll save you their ad filled download process: https://we.tl/HGNA7LFzdi

The Puppetmaster is also on youtube. In appropriately mediocre quality, but the actual DVD isn't much better from screenshots I've seen.

In this case both films only exist in awful transfers from rare and shoddy DVDs so I guess it's a fair matchup in that regard.

Glancing back through the verdicts in the first three rounds, the quality of Blues Harp's transfer seems to have gone unremarked upon, with Miike's style shining through undiminished. On the other hand, the aspect ratio of Hou's film was much lamented, even though the viewers still found the film beautiful despite its cropped form.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

I see The Puppetmaster on YouTube, but not with subtitles. I guess those should be findable though.

Ok then, I'll tentatively take that matchup.

Thanks, Teproc.  I'll catch up with Blues Harp no matter what.

Do we know if manana is around/going to complete the last matchup ? I guess pixote still has resurrections to get through so we're not in a rush entirely.

Indeed! Promises have been secured.

I guess pixote still has resurrections to get through so we're not in a rush entirely.

I'm banking on a flurry of progress soon.
