Operation Condor

That's a must see, just for the stunts alone.

Wong Jing: God Of Gamblers 2-4
Can you give me an IMDb link to the fourth one?  I can't tell which one you mean, and Wikipedia just confused me further.

Kung Fu Cult Master (I have it on VHS, don't think there's a DVD)
Looks like Netflix has it.

Tsui Hark: the Chinese Feast
Did you already have this one on your Food list, skjerva?

yep. and if i haven't already said it (well, even if i have) - mammoth thanks to face and pix for culling all these titles.  the tiny bit of sleuthing i did today, took way longer than i would have suspected, i reckon finding all these titles and organizing the information was a crazy time commitment
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Wong Jing: God Of Gamblers 2-4
Can you give me an IMDb link to the fourth one?  I can't tell which one you mean, and Wikipedia just confused me further.

God Of Gamblers' Return is the fourth one, but called GOG 2 because Chow Yun-fat appeared in it after not appearing in the second or third one (though he is shown in the second, but it's an outtake from the first one).

IMDB says this about the other GOG 2:

"This movie is a sequel to both God of Gamblers, which included Andy Lau's character, and to All for the Winner, which starred Stephen Chow and Man Tat Ng. This film should not be confused with God of Gamblers Returns, also released as God of Gamblers 2, and in essence the true sequel to the original God of Gamblers."

All For The Winner is Stephen Chow's parody of the first GOG.

I really need to see these movies.

Kung Fu Cult Master (I have it on VHS, don't think there's a DVD)
Looks like Netflix has it.

Yup, that's it.  One of its many titles (my VHS is called Lord Of The Wu Tang).

Some suggestions.

The underlined films are the ones I recommend the most or are films that have received some praise.

China
Rainclouds Over Wushan (dir. Zhang Ming) - previously on VCD and DVD

Hong Kong
The Stunt Woman/Ah Kam (dir. Ann Hui) - Netflix
Eighteen Springs (dir. Ann Hui) - library, DVD
Away With Words (dir. Chris Doyle) - previously on VCD and DVD
Who's the Woman, Who's the Man? (dir. Peter Chan) - Netflix
Naked Killer (dir. Fok Yiu-leung) - Netflix; a cult flick
Lifeline (dir. Johnnie To) - Netflix
A Hero Never Dies (dir. Johnnie To) - Netflix; not a fan of this, but lots of people like it
Where a Good Man Goes (dir. Johnnie To) - Netflix
The Peace Hotel (dir. Wai Ka-fai) - Netflix

Japan
Shadow of China (dir. Mitsuo Yanagimachi) - VHS, library
Tetsuo: the Iron Man (dir. Shinya Tsukamoto) - Netflix; not a fan, but it's a pretty popular cult flick
Tetsuo 2: Bodyhammer (dir. Shinya Tsukamoto) - Netflix
Slight Fever/A Touch of Fever (dir. Ryosuke Hashiguchi) - Netflix
Kichiku dai enkai (dir. Kazuyoshi Kumakiri) - Netflix

Philippines
Relasyon (dir. Ishmael Bernal) - Netflix
The Fatima Buen Story (dir. Mario O'Hara) - Netflix

South Korea
Taebaek Mountains (dir. Im Kwon-taek) - DVD, YesAsia
Downfall (dir. Im Kwon-taek) - DVD, YesAsia
Motel Cactus (dir. Park Ki-yong; DP: Chris Doyle) - Netflix; great cinematography, not so good movie

Thailand
Bangkok Dangerous (dir. Pang brothers) - Netflix; not a fan, but it's popular

Vietnam
Nostalgia for the Countryside/Nostalgia for Countryland (dir. Dang Minh Nhat) - DVD, VHS, library

I haven't seen Shoot For the Contents by Trinh T. Minh-ha, but it's a possible title to look into.  I don't know if it qualifies because she's a Vietnamese-American born in Vietnam and lives and teaches in America, but it's a documentary about China judging from the synopsis.

Lastly, that's a pretty thorough job you guys did with that list.  Great work, guys and (gals?).

Don't know anything about these other than finding them on Netflix Watch Now but what about:

Men and Women (1999)
So Close to Paradise (1998)

Both look interesting...
